Junior Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build a career in accounting and finance within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture supplier invoices and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Assist with processing customer invoices and receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Process petty cash transactions.
- Assist with preparing payments.
- File and maintain financial records.
- Assist with month-end accounting procedures.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts when required.
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.
- Ensure all financial information is accurate and confidential.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping will be an advantage.
- 1–2 years' experience in an accounts or finance environment.
- Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software will be advantageous.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
