JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning Lodge Operator with a portfolio of properties to identify a highly experienced and organized ACCOUNTANT to join their Head Office Team

Experience & Skills Requirements

BCOM in Financial Management/Accounting or equivalent is essential.

Held a similar position for at least 3 years overseeing multiple properties.

Advanced Excel experience is required, including skills in pivot tables, vlookups, and data analysis.

Experience with Panstrat and/or Microsoft Access is beneficial.

Knowledge of Pastel advantages is also desirable.

Possess strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

Ensured timely completion of month-end processes for multiple lodges, meeting required deadlines.

Process monthly journals related to South African lodges, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Verify the accuracy of data extracted from multiple platforms, ensuring reliability and integrity.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Diligent and motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.

Valid Driver’s license is essential.
