Lead the Group’s external financial reporting agenda and shape reporting excellence across a complex international organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all statutory, regulatory and public financial disclosures, while maintaining compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, JSE obligations and leading governance practices.
As the Group’s technical reporting authority, you will drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls and disclosures, elevating reporting beyond compliance to enhance transparency, stakeholder confidence and market credibility. You will champion the use of modern reporting technologies, simplify reporting processes and strengthen alignment across financial statements, regulatory submissions, Board reporting and investor communications.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Investor Relations, Tax, Actuarial, Risk, Company Secretariat, external auditors and regulators, you will provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to safeguard reporting integrity and build a resilient, future-focused reporting function.
The role provides Group-wide reporting leadership across South Africa, Pan-Africa, India and Malaysia, ensuring consistent reporting standards and principles while accommodating local regulatory and market requirements.
