Sunbet, as the online betting and gaming division of Sun International, will lead the alternative gaming strategy and business objectives, providing thought leadership and advice on betting and gaming product performance, revenue growth, operational governance and service standards, as well as building strategic relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; and leading the integration of online sports betting projects into operations.
The Casino Promotions Specialist will be responsible for the marketing of casino products through the planning, set-up and management of the product’s promotional tools, executing casino promotions and campaigns that drive player engagement, retention and revenue growth, with the aim of promoting Sunbet as the online gaming brand of choice. This will include the configuration, testing and quality assurance of promotional tools, the analysis and interpretation of promotional performance data, reporting on promotions and campaign trends, and making recommendations to continuously improve casino promotional effectiveness, standards, and to deliver results.
Qualifications
- 3 Year Degree / Diploma in Marketing / Business Management
Experience
- 6 years’ experience in marketing, promotions or CRM within the gambling/online gaming industry
- Experience with online casino promotional tools, bonus engines and the evaluation of promotional effectiveness in market

Key Performance Areas
- Plan, configure and execute casino promotions and campaigns using the product’s promotional tools, in line with the casino promotional calendar
- Develop reporting & analysis methods/templates for casino promotions to understand promotional performance
- Perform data analysis on promotional uptake, bonus cost and spend, customer segments and player profitability to drive promotional decisions
- Analyse and diagnose promotional performance issues and challenges and offer a solution in line with product knowledge and business needs
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on casino promotions in order to measure uptake, engagement, cost and return on investment
- Develop and implement promotional action plans to boost casino performance and ensure offers are competitive to various casino segments
- Research, recommend and implement new promotional mechanics, tools and innovations across the customer experience
- Work collaboratively with all customer facing functions to ensure a consistent and accurate message is provided to customers on casino promotions, including terms and conditions
- Quality assure and test/pilot promotions, bonuses, free spins and tournaments on the promotional tools before release to customers
- Collaborate with management, operations, risk and compliance teams to ensure promotions meet regulatory and responsible gambling requirements and to mitigate bonus abuse and promotional risk
- Understand the capabilities of the promotional tools and customer needs and anticipate future promotional opportunities
- Monitor and review the impact of promotions on casino gaming revenue and identify challenges that need to be addressed
- Review, measure and optimise casino promotional campaigns and bonus offers on an ongoing basis
- Communicate and monitor the effectiveness of bonusing tools on customer behaviour and adjust where relevant
- Work closely with CRM teams to identify opportunities to promote network promotions, exclusive game launches, new supplier integrations and new features introduced on the platform
- Create and present Post Campaign Analysis reports with findings and recommendations for future promotions
- Coordinate with casino product specialists to leverage network promotions, tournaments and supplier-funded campaigns
- Follow a data-driven approach to continuously monitor promotional performance and make adjustments to the casino lobby and promotional placements accordingly
- Project manage promotional marketing campaigns from concept to execution, working with marcomms teams, design, digital and operations teams
- Maintain accurate promotional documentation and the promotional calendar, and facilitate partnerships/relationships that support the development, refinement and implementation of promotions
