Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an F&B General Worker for a Luxury Hotel based in Sea Point. You main goals are to assist in providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Candidate Responsibilities:

Health & Hygiene standards are upheld according to Hotel procedures

Assisting in setting up and breaking down of Restaurant Operations/ Conferencing or Special Events

Assist Management in the opening and closing duties of the Restaurant/Bar/Banqueting/Room service
-
Ensure that Hotel Policies and procedures are followed at all times to ensure guest satisfaction
-
Deal with guest complaints and queries immediately and efficiently
-
Ensure that the bar team are following the Hotels Policies and Procedures regarding beverage services

Perform duties of a barman in the Food and Beverage department of the Hotel as directed by Management

Dealing with guest comments/requests promptly to ensure the acquisition and Maintenance of guests

Drive broader goals of the hotel in terms of bar general services by planning and achieving objectives

Meet, greet and interact with all our guest with a friendly and welcoming smile
-
Continuously upselling and aiming to reach revenue budget
-
Operate point of sale system and doing cash up daily.

Maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness in the bar area according to QPRO
-
Actively involved in the daily, weekly, monthly beverage stock takes
-
Efficient cost management plan must be in place and followed regularly.

The employee is familiar with and performs to the minimum guest Service Standards laid down within his/ her area of work and responsibility

Ensure to comply with financial procedures of the hotel and handle payments and cash according to the set code of conduct
Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
-
Hospitality management qualification would be a great advantage

Recent work experience in a same or similar position
-
Excellent communication skills in English, written, verbal and telephone etiquettes
-
Excellent guest relations skills, guest service driven, extremely passionate for this industry, a team player with a positive attitude

Well groomed, presentable and professional manner

Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
