We are looking for a reliable, warm, and experienced Live-in Housekeeper and Childminder to join our household. The ideal candidate will love working with children and take pride in maintaining a clean, organised home environment. This is a permanent, live-in position with comfortable private accommodation and meals provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Childcare: Supervise children, assist with morning routines, prepare school lunches, and help with homework or afternoon activities.
- Housekeeping: Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying rooms.
- Laundry: Wash, iron, fold, and pack away clothing and household linens.
- Meal Preparation: Cook healthy, basic family meals for dinner and assist with kitchen clean-up.
Requirements
- Driver's License
- Proven experience as a housekeeper, childminder, or domestic worker.
- Excellent, verifiable references from previous employers.
- Friendly, patient demeanor with a genuine love for children.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Valid South African ID, Permanent Residency, or valid Work Permit.
