Purpose
As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. Your expertise in organisational development will be crucial in leading initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, support leadership development, and drive change management across the organisation. Key focus areas will include:
· HR Strategy development and execution
· Employee relations
· Recruitment and onboarding
· Organisational design and development
· Payroll and benefits
· Training & Development
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals, including talent management, organisational design, and employee engagement.
· Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements and industry standards. Stay current with HR trends and innovations to continuously improve HR functions.
· Lead initiatives that promote organisational growth, improve processes, and enhance overall performance.
· Utilise best practices in OD to drive change and ensure alignment with business objectives.
· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain talent.
· Develop programs that support career development and succession planning.
· Design and implement leadership development programs that build managerial capabilities and support succession planning.
· Manage and support change initiatives within the organisation. Develop strategies to address and mitigate resistance, ensuring smooth transitions and integration.
· Represent the company at CCMA and bargaining council engagements.
· Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as bargaining council and trade unions.
Skills Required
o Degree or Diploma in human resources management or relevant
o Minimum of 4 - 6 years of HR management experience with exposure to organisational development
o CCMA/Bargaining Council experience
o In depth knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EE Acts
