Field Technician — Instant Hot Water Systems (Bellville)
R&D Technologies installs instant electric hot water shower systems across Cape Town and surrounds. We are looking for a hands-on Field Technician to join our installation team, starting as soon as possible.
What you'll do
- Drive the company vehicle to customer sites across Cape Town and surrounds
- Install instant water heaters, taps and accessories at residential properties
- Carry out basic plumbing and electrical connections
- Work to a daily job schedule and update job records through our mobile system
- Represent the company professionally on every job
Requirements
- Valid South African driver's licence (Code B) and confident driving in Cape Town traffic
- Basic plumbing or electrical background
- Physically able to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and lift equipment
- Comfortable using a smartphone for job tracking and reporting
- Able to travel to our Bellville shop daily
- Punctual, reliable and contactable
- Appointment is subject to a criminal record check, with your written consent
Advantageous
- Experience installing showers, geysers or plumbing fixtures
- Previous field service or customer-facing technical work
Hours
Monday to Friday 09h00–17h00, Saturday 09h00–15h00. 40 hours per week
What we offer
- R6500 – R8000 per month, depending on experience
