Description
The store assistant is responsible for delivering service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operation and merchandising that leads to a positive customer experience.

- Customer care: Deal with all customer queries and complaints in a caring, polite and professional manner at all times.

- Following up on queries and discrepancies timeously.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
- Maintaining good customer relationships.
- To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
- To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased
- To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
- To make customers aware of promotions to help drive sales.
- To ensure that the shop is neat and tidy at all times.
- To ensure that the shelves are kept neat and tidy at all times.
- To carry out general housekeeping duties.
- To maintain updated knowledge on our products and promotions in order to provide the correct information to customers at all times.
