We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team at one of our Cape Town Hotels and be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team. The successful candidate needs to ensure our property remains in top condition, providing a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests.
Your Role:

Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they impact guest experience.

Supervise and support the maintenance team, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of work.

Manage maintenance requests and repairs in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruption to guests and staff.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal impact on operations.
Requirements:

Proven experience (3-5 years) in a maintenance role, with supervisory experience (non-negotioable).

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.

Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to maintenance work.

Flexibility to respond to emergencies and work outside regular hours if needed.
