Hero Serv is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to join our Executive Leadership Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the organisation's people strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a high-performance culture that supports growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
· Lead recruitment, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
· Manage labour relations, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and CCMA matters.
· Drive employee engagement, performance management, and organisational culture programmes.
· Oversee learning and development, skills development, and leadership development initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with labour legislation, Employment Equity, BBBEE, and other regulatory requirements.
· Lead employee health and wellbeing initiatives.
· Drive organisational optimisation and continuous improvement across the business.
· Ensure adequate succession planning in place.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Degree or Master’s in Human Resources, or a related field.
· Minimum 5–8 years' experience in a senior HR leadership role.
· Extensive knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
· Proven experience in labour relations, organisational development, and change management.
· Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
