About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media & Administrator to manage our client's online presence while providing day-to-day administrative support. This is a hybrid position suited to someone who is equal parts creative and organized, comfortable switching between content creation and back-office tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Write engaging captions and manage posting calendars
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow follower base
- Track basic performance metrics and report on content performance
- Source or edit images/videos for posts (basic design/editing skills)
- Stay current on platform trends and adjust content strategy accordingly
Administrative
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate calendars
- Handle email correspondence and general office queries
- Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) and data capturing
- Assist with document preparation, invoicing, or basic bookkeeping support
- Order office supplies and manage vendor communication
- Provide general support to management as needed
Requirements
- Matric essential; a qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Office Administration advantageous
- 1–3 years' experience in a social media or administrative role
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficient in Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling tools
- Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to multitask
- Own transport/reliable means of getting to work
Pay: From R15 000,00 per month
