We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Specialist to focus on sales and marketing activities to attract new business and improve revenue. This must be achieved by:
- Selling Indalo’s services using solid arguments to prospective customers
- Serve customers by identifying their needs and customizing services to address these needs.
- Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential customers to understand their service requirements.
- Draft proposals, provide product, service and equipment information by answering questions and requests.
- Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales call and client visit schedule.
- Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment
Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
Key responsibilities are to provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
· Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
· Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
· Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
· Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
· Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
· Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
· Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
· Develop customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
· Comply with national, provincial and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipate future legislation.
· Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and trends.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
· Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
· Continuously improve through feedback
· Must be able to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time and to be able to cope under pressure.
· Keep logbook on all business trips.
· Increase sales by:
· Identifying and closing leads
· Client site visit and inspection (Sales)
· Attend and participate in Marketing events
· Attend tender briefing meetings
· Completing tender documents and RFQ’s
· Draft quotations/ Proposals
· Networking and promoting company interest and services
· Draft sales and marketing procedures
· Weekly Sales and marketing status update meetings
· Maintain a professional company image
· Improve knowledge by understanding Indalo products and services
· Gather information and photos from each site to support website and social media content.
· Manage content and enquiries on Company Social Media platforms
