We have an opportunity for an Experienced Food & Beverage/Restaurant Manager.
We are a new venue located just outside of Paarl.
The ideal individual is highly service and guest orientated with a strong operational skill set, high level of attention to detail, ability to lead and manage a team effectively, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a high-end restaurant
You will need to lead FOH staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment to ensure a seamless culinary experience for our guests.
Manages FOH staff which includes scheduling, training, and general supervision.
You’ll oversee the restaurant & venue, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
We’ll expect you to lead by example to uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and waitering staff
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Financial management skills
- Excellent wine knowledge
- Training and staff performance management ability
- Confident and excellent communication skills
- Hands-on approach to F&B operations
- Guest and service centric approach
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
- Flexibility, adaptability
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
