JOB OVERVIEW
This is an internship position to enhance one experience through supporting the recruitment team on three areas of their activities which includes: Field recruitment, Office recruitment and Friends of MSF engagements within the HR department.
Purpose of the job: Support recruitment and Friends of MSF activities.

Report to: Recruitment Officer
Field Recruitment key tasks & responsibilities:
- Ensure all applications are received, screened and applicants receive feedback at the right time.
- Implements selection process as described in the relevant MSF SnA Recruitment documents, always ensuring the quality of the process. Responsibilities include CV screening, Collection and verification of candidate documents and credentials.
- Organising of the Assessment Centres.
- Conducting MIE and reference checks.
- Collection and verification of candidate documents and credentials.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of the recruitment process and its results, produces monthly and other specialized reports
Domestic Recruitment key tasks & responsibilities:
- Arrange, organize, and file all the recruitment interview files.
- Ensure all invitations and bookings we need as the Recruitment team is done and the material, we need is prepared for the example for the interview day.
- Giving Feedback to the candidates through smooth communication with candidates.
- Responsible for CV screening on recruitment platforms.
- Support the recruitment officer on presentation and reporting on recruitment Stats; for example, policy updates, guidelines, and other updates.
- Updating Recruitment Tracker.
- Job advert sharing through social media and emailing.
- Better understanding of MSF recruitment policy and employment regulations trends stipulated by the governments.
- Other ad-hoc recruitment-related duties.
Friends of MSF key tasks & responsibilities:
- The main objective of the FoMSF program is to raise awareness of MSF work amongst the medical and other university students which will encourage them to consider working with MSF or humanitarian organizations in their future careers.
- Oversee and Coordinate Friends of MSF (University Societies) programs in raising awareness about MSF through their events by planning events, approval of events as well and attending events.
- Ensure that events are done in accordance to MSF principles as also guided by MOU between MSF and Universities.
- Regularly check their Social Media Updates (Facebook, Instagram.
- Develop a working plan together with respective friends of MSF focal points.
- Select the most appropriate events in which MSF will be involved.
- Work with the focal points to increase the number of Friends of MSF.
- Expand the friends of MSF ideology to other universities with medical students.
- Develop social media tools that will link friends of MSF country wide.
- Link the MSF SA office with the friends of the MSF network.
REQUIRMENTS
Education
- Degree or National Diploma in HRM, Marketing, Communications, Project Management.

Remuneration and resources
- Resources needed such as working space, computer, internet, stationery, and other resources will be made available.
- Monthly Stipend: R 5000.

Length of commitment: 12 months
