Baltic Group Projects is looking for a diligent and driven Junior Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to become part of our construction company based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Applicants’ skills/responsibilities include:
- Must have minimum of 3 years’ working experience on site, office based & Tenderer administration.
- Price jobs under supervision by senior QS.
- Must have a construction background
- Prepare and submit claims for payment.
- Administrative tasks - Must be able to complete Contractual Part of a tender document.
- Prepare and submit variation orders.
- Preparation of contract related documents.
- Be able to compile a tender document from administration part to the technical part.
- Prepare subcontractor claims.
- Team player
- Understand JBCC and GCC contracts
- Good administrative skills and knowledge of Principal Building Agreements.
- Prepare cost reports, tender evaluations and sub-contractor appointment schedules for approval by Contracts Manager/Project Manager
- Have a valid Drivers Code 8 (Required)
- Attend Tender Meetings
- Preparation of program of works
- Submission of tenders

- Diploma (Required)
- Registration with SACQSP
Experience:
- Quantity Surveying & Tender administration: 3 years experience is a must.
