RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our client's team. As a leading recruitment agency in the field of Civil Engineering, we are dedicated to finding the best candidates for our clients' needs. The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in civil engineering projects, ensuring that they are executed smoothly and successfully.
In this role, the Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion. They will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring that they are executed according to specifications and within budget
- Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, architects, and project managers
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with design teams to review plans, identify potential issues, and propose solutions
- Manage and coordinate site staff, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure efficient workflow
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site
- Keep detailed records of project progress, including daily activity reports, material orders, and change orders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or a similar role in the civil engineering industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary
