An established manufacturing organization based in Paarden Eiland requires a Financial Administration Assistant to join their finance team
Financial Administrator Duties:
- Ensure invoices are properly authorized in accordance with levels of authority and allocate it to correct supplier and general ledger accounts daily.
- Accurately process invoices in accounts payable and post batches daily.
- Sending remittance advices to supplier after completion of the payment run.
- Accurately prepare monthly reconciliations of creditors accounts statements against the A/P age analysis.
- Accurately reconcile G/L and creditors accounts monthly to make sure that accounts are correctly balanced; this includes all current accounts and credit cards for African Extracts & Scentpac.
- Reconciliation of debtor rebates, credit notes and payments.
- Preparation of monthly debtor statements.
- Loading of new supplier / debtor accounts and completing credit applications.
- Filling creditors / debtors reconciliations.
Office Duties:
- Log monthly attendance of staff for payroll and verify sick notes and leave requests.
- Provide information to staff regarding company policies, procedures, the company pension fund and loan agreements.
- Ensure all company vehicles are licensed; kilometers are monitored and manage traffic fines received by company vehicles.
- Filing and creating new files for staff documentation
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of a grade 12 pass, with 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
- Pastel and Excel experience an advantage.
- Excellent written communication skills to handle own correspondence.
- Excellent telephone manner, good command of English.
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R12 000,00 - R14 000,00 per month
