Overview
The Vice Principal Academic Operations is responsible for the efficient functioning of the academic operational processes on campus from the registration process through to graduation of a student. This includes all administration within scheduling and timetabling, assessments and student support functions. The objective is to enhance student experience and promote student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, train and manage high performing academic operations teams to achieve organizational and campus objectives

Recruitment, contracting and management of lecturers

Oversee day-to-day operations on the relevant campus

Develop and implement a more efficient and effective teaching and learning timetable for implementation at campus level

Assessments – printing, timetabling, mark capture and verification

Management of invigilators

Administration including student files, communication platforms and timetabling

Report on progress and issues efficiently and effectively into head office structures

Ensure that the organisational and campus reputation and credibility is maintained to the highest standards across to the stakeholder groups towards student success

Ensure teaching and learning, assessments, student retention, student success and student support are developed and implemented in line with campus requirements

Supporting the principal in any, and all, campus activities and initiatives

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

A relevant postgraduate degree is advantageous
