Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
- Interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to management
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy
- Create data maps with visual representations of data flows and relationships between different data sources.
- Create visualizations and reports to present data findings to stakeholders
- Use modelling tools like ERD (Entity-Relationship Diagrams) to visualise data models
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for improving data quality and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field
- Finance Reporting Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or a similar role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
