To provide strategic leadership in terms of all Financial, Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain Management (SCM) matters at the South African Weather Service (SAWS), to ensure that the organisation delivers on its mandate and generates self-funding mechanisms for long-term sustainability. The incumbent must assess the financial, commercial risks and opportunities, and is responsible for setting and tracking financial, commercial and marketing goals, objectives and budgets on a proactive basis, while ensuring compliance with GRAP, the PFMA and all other related legislative prescripts.
