ProStaffSelect are in search of a RESTAURANT HOSTESS, MANAGER & WINE SPECIALIST to welcome all guests and to present signature wines for tasting and for wine pairing in the restaurant and to manage a small team of focused and dedicated waiters and a senior sommelier.
REQUIREMENTS:
Wine Tasting, Wine Pairing and Presentation Experience ESSENTIAL
WSET / WOSA or Cape Wine Academy Qualfications a pre-requisite
Attractive young candidate with a bubbly, engaging and confident personality
Excellent presentation and people skills with a good knowledge of the Stellenbosch Winelands fine cuisines
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS
Good organisational and planning abilities
Willingness to assist Front of House personnel with seating and assisting customers
Good knowledge of a wine tasting menus, advanced culinary terms and good wine knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Computer & Point of Sale systems
