Purpose of the job
As a Finance Solutions Product Owner, and a member of the agile team, you are responsible for the execution of a finance product vision and delivery aligned with evolving customer and business needs. As the Product Owner, you play a crucial role in maximizing the economic value delivered by the team.
Acting as a strategic liaison, this role facilitates communication and determines solution objectives that align with broader organizational financial goals. The Product Owner will ensure that the right value-driven solutions are built whilst maintaining the highest standards of fiscal integrity, scalability, and automated accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Apply domain expertise to deliver continuous optimization of the financial ecosystem.
Introduce new tools and practices that enhance the user experience, ensuring that financial processes are as seamless.
Provide critical business context to ensure every solution meets overarching financial needs, while supporting business owners in defining clear guidelines and expectations.
Strategically drive new system and product development
Oversee Support Service to the business
Training /Knowledge acquisition and transfer

Business degree with Finance and Information Systems/Technology subjects
Financial Accounting Degree, Product Owner or Scrum certification (Beneficial)
5 years of experience in a similar role leading a team of Business and Systems Analysts. (Beneficial)
Business acumen experience in retail finance environments. (Beneficial)
Project exposure to implement and design solutions aligned to industry practices
Facilitate training sessions/presentations
Above average computer literacy - MS Office & MS Project / Google Workspace
Curious mindset / self-learner

Hands on experience with software development and documentation
