We are looking for a highly motivated, inquisitive Privacy Specialist to join our Global Privacy team. You will work closely with our senior privacy lawyers, members of the wider legal team, compliance teams, business units, and external counsel with a particular focus on assessing and mitigating the privacy risks and ensure that we provide adequate safeguards and remedies for the protection of our data subjects' rights. You will also be responsible for researching and monitoring the legal developments and methodologies in the field of data protection, especially in light of Schrems II and its implications for third party risk management and cross border data flows.
Working with colleagues to help implement and maintain our third-party risk management framework, playbooks, policies, procedures, and precedents, including our Transfer Impact Assessments, Standard Contractual Clauses and Vendor Due Diligence.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data transfer agreements, contracts and clauses with our third parties, ensuring that they reflect our data protection risk appetite.
Assisting in the management and resolution of data protection queries, complaints, and disputes from data subjects, regulators, and third parties.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks and provide practical and effective solutions.
A high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and care.
