Kendrick Recruitment are now seeking a Hotel Manager for a High-end property based in the picturesque Winelands.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management and Leadership
- Background in Front Office & Housekeeping/Rooms Division Management
- International Experience is advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the same position overseeing the operations of a 5 Star or equivalent luxury hotel - winelands area is advantageous
- Proficient in constructing budgets and forecasts
- Thorough knowledge of performance management and employee relations
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure world-class service is delivered to the guest, in all locations, by effectively directing the Hotel Teams on all matters impacting the guest service provision as measured by on- line reputation metrics and direct guest feedback
- Responsible for and directs the full operations, service, logistics and activities of the Hotel Team to ensure that the hotel achieves its financial objectives
- Creates an environment that contributes to highly positive employee engagement and commitment to the job
- Prepares and proposes the annual budgets
- Manages the monthly expenses in line with the budgets
- Manages and directs all aspects relating to staff performance and conduct
- Responsible for responding to all guest feedback from surveys and agents
