Primary ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Record daily financial transactions.
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.
Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll accurately and on time (where applicable).
- Maintain employee payment records.
- Assist in preparing financial information for tax filings and audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements.
- Prepare Balance Sheets.
- Monitor cash flow.
- Generate customized financial reports for management.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Software & Systems
- Work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Maintain accounting records in cloud-based systems.
- Manage digital filing and bookkeeping documentation.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with management and external accountants.
- Communicate professionally with clients when required.
- Meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Formal bookkeeping or accounting training/certification preferred.
- CPA/CA qualification is NOT required.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience supporting international businesses is an advantage.
