JOB OVERVIEW:
As an SAP Finance Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and support of the SAP FI, CO, Assets and PS modules (including respective sub modules), within the organization. You will work closely with the Business, as well as your internal teams to ensure the integrity of financial data, troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements and provide user support. Your role will contribute to the overall financial system stability and accuracy, enabling the company to make informed business decisions.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills: Experience in SAP FI CO Finance.

Good To Have Skills: Experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.

Experience in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed.

SAP Project system exposure with CAPEX projects and Investment management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issue Resolution:
-
Categorize tickets received via call logging ticketing tool Remedy into Service Requests, Service Restorations, Changes and Projects.

Investigate and resolve issues logged via Remedy, related to the SAP Finance and PS modules, including data discrepancies, system errors and user problems.
-
Provide timely and effective solutions to end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

Resolve issues reported during Month end and Year end processes.
-
Assist with business requests during Audit and compliance reviews for Business.
-
Development of custom Reports as per Customer/user requirements in the area of FI/PS .
-
Checking and Application of OSS Notes to problem areas.
System Maintenance & Enhancements:
-
Interpret and investigate Business Requirements Documentation received and provide Estimations.

Implement and test system enhancements, updates, and patches to ensure the system remains up-to-date and efficient.

Customize and configure within the SAP Finance and PS system landscapes (where required and feasible) to meet business requirements.

Understand the integration points from other modules as well as Third party systems (inbound and outbound) to FI and PS.

Follow all compliances and attend all meetings ,for Change control processes to Transport changes across landscapes.

Monitor the SAP Finance and PS modules for system performance eg job failures, data accuracy and integrity.
User Support and Training:

Provide user support by addressing enquiries, issues, and questions related to the SAP Finance module.

Prepare training (How to Guides) where requested, to educate users on system functionality, best practices, and new features.
Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations(Config rationale), processes, Functional Specifications, SIT, Change control and Fire Fighter documentation.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the SAP Finance module.

Proactively suggest and implement enhancements that optimize system performance and user experience.
