MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide high-class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through
sales maximization.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fully stocked store
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all companies policies and procedures
SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Higher education (Advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years work experience preferably in retail environment
- Knowledge of retail practices
- Demonstrated ability to perform customer service duties.
- Leadership skills.
- Own/Reliable transport a must
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
