Scope of Job:
The primary responsibility is to assist all walk-in clients, handle cash transactions, serve counter clients, and manage account clients. This includes tasks such as invoicing, processing credit notes authorized by management, answering telephone inquiries, generating quotes, following up on quotes, contacting customers to schedule appointments for sales representatives, actively seeking new orders through cold calling, and adding all customers to our database.
Main Specifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics proficiency
- Previous experience in internal and counter sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Ability to take initiative

- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist all clients, including those walking in, phoning in, and emailing orders
- Support in generating quotations and placing stock orders
- Collaborate closely with the storeman to plan daily deliveries effectively
- Fulfil any additional requirements from management as needed
- Ensure accuracy in cash-up/petty cash balance
- Maintain and file up-to-date paperwork daily
- Take part in annual and cycle count stock takes
- Provide administrative support and invoicing assistance to external sales representatives whilethey are on the road
- Contact customers regularly for orders and address any inquiries or needs they may haveregarding products or services.
- Setting up meeting with Customers for the Depo Manager and External Sales representatives,with the contact person to deal with directly
- Cold calling, contacting all old & lost clients to try and retain business on a regular basis
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet sales targets and customer needs
- Stay informed about product features and benefits to effectively communicate with customers
Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
