A recently opened day time venue on a picturesque Wine Estate in Somerset West is searching for a well-presented and well-spoken Front of House Supervisor. The venue is open 7 days a week offering light upmarket cuisine, pastries and cakes. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing the front of house operation of this new upmarket Cafe. It is essential that Applicants have previous supervisory experience in a restaurant environment, strong administrative skills and enjoy working uder pressure.
Key Performance Areas include:
Customer service with attention to detail
Supervision of front of house and beverage staff
Restaurant administration
Understanding and owning the brand and leading by example to instil a passion for food and wine into staff on an ongoing basis
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Hospitality diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience in a similar position,
Excellent people and communication skills
A strong sense and understanding of what constitutes world class service
A team player
Strong administration skills
FOR NOTING This venue operates from Monday to Sunday (from 09h00 to 16h00) and will offer light breakfast and lunch service plus all day beverages and pastries / cakes. The successful candidate, would as such, be required to work on a 5 day a week shift basis that includes weekends shifts.
