Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure that good standard of safety awareness is maintained.
Ensure that section personnel comply with the requires Health and Safety and Environmental standards.
Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintained.
Examines objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape, and weight, and decide on the type of equipment necessary.
Erects a temporary jib or derrick if required, and installs cables, pulleys, and other tackle.Chooses or makes slinging equipment and attach it to the load.
