We are in search of an EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER to oversee and manage daily rooms operations and all accommodation services.
KEY OUTPUTS:
Management of the housekeeping team
Management and control of laundry contract
All housekeeping related stock orders and purchases
Monthly stock takes
Room checks
Budgets
Staff skill development
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 4 - 5 years relevant experience in a 5-star operation
Hotel / Hospitality management qualification or similar managerial training is essential
Valid unendorsed SA driver’s license essential
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
Computer Literate: Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook; Pastel
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Lateral thinking ability with effective leadership & management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and someone who takes initiative
A candidate who is able to lead others, motivate staff and change a lazy type work attitude
Strong personality and negotiation skills
