Our 4-star luxury guesthouse in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town is seeking a senior Housekeeper with cooking experience (and talent!) to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. Our boutique hotel is ranked in the top ten in Cape Town on TripAdvisor thanks to our strong commitment to excellence. We are looking for a candidate who takes pride in perfection and being the best, and has leadership ability to drive productivity and quality improvements in the very important housekeeping department.
The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional with at least 5/6 years of housekeeping experience in luxury properties of a similar type.

The employee will be responsible for the following tasks:

Dressed in correct uniform – neat and tidy

Get all cleaning products needed for cleaning of rooms

Meeting with manager for daily tasks

Assist with breakfast

Cleaning of rooms and bathrooms

Cleaning the communal areas, lounges, dining area, outside space.

Cleaning windows and patios
-
Assisting guests e.g. check in/out, luggage, serving drinks, deli menu, fresh pool towels, etc.

Laundry – washing/drying/ironing
and any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer's business, as the employer may from time to time direct.
