Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Panel Saw Operator to join the team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with panel saw machinery and cutting melamine boards. As a Panel Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient cutting of materials to meet production targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Panel Saw: Utilize panel saw machinery to cut melamine boards according to specified measurements and requirements, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials for defects or imperfections and ensure that all cuts meet quality standards and specifications.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on panel saw machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Production Targets: Work towards meeting production targets set by the company, striving for efficiency and productivity.
- Commission-Based Pay: Earn production commission based on meeting or exceeding production targets.
Experience & Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a panel saw, specifically cutting melamine boards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate cuts consistently.
- Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine machinery maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be of sober habits and able to provide good references.
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: R8,000 per month
- Production Commission: Eligible to earn additional income based on meeting production targets.
