Seeking a high-energy, disciplined, and experienced Store Manager to oversee the business operations. We specialize in replacement auto parts, and as such, we require a leader who doesn't just manage people but understands the technical nature of our inventory.
The successful candidate will have the branch oversight , ensuring that the warehouse, sales floor, accounts, and logistics departments work in perfect harmony.
Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations across all departments (Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, Marketing, and Logistics).
Staff Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to meet performance targets and maintain high service standards.
Inventory & Warehousing: Ensure stock accuracy and optimize warehouse workflows.
Financial Management: Oversee the accounts department, ensuring accurate invoicing & payment tracking.
Sales & Marketing: Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, new customer sign-up and local marketing efforts.
Logistics: Coordinate efficient delivery schedules to customers and supplier stock arrivals.
Customer Excellence: Resolve technical queries and maintain strong relationships with workshops and retail customers.
Requirements Academic Qualifications
Grade 12 / Matric: A non-negotiable minimum requirement.
NQF Level 5 or 6 in Retail Management Specifically the W&R SETA Occupational Certificate for Retail Store Managers.
Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics Industry Experience: A proven background in the Auto Parts industry is mandatory.
Candidates without automotive spare parts knowledge will not be considered.
Management Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a senior supervisory or management role.
Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of business accounts and retail margins.
Leadership: Strong personality with the ability to manage diverse teams
Tech Savvy: Proficiency IQ Retail system & MS Office.
