KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Develops pricing strategy and build excel models based on the company’s capabilities, positioning, and market dynamics.
- Develops practical commercial solutions, and guide pricing analysts, in collaboration with sales, bid management, service and finance.
- Takes ownership of process documentation and communication ensuring best practice is applied to pricing methodologies and operations for new and existing business
- Prepares and reports on financial performance and insight into commercial cost and revenue drivers across the business.
- Review performance trends and identify risk opportunities
Ensure that commercial and financial controls are in place to support frontline planning and governance
- Calculates the long-term profit of deals and ensures deal profitability is not eroded over time
- Considers inflationary movements and cost of living issues, ensuring that this does not impact negatively on deal profitability over the long term
- Evaluates and concludes on invoicing profiles and payment terms and related impacts
- Evaluate Financing, Accounting aspects of each new and existing client account
- Critically evaluates financing, leasing and accounting impacts of deals
- Ensure that deals take advantage of and consider revenue recognition in line with Dimension Data/Company policies.
- Ensures that accounting policies are understood by all relevant stakeholders, maximising and protecting margins and group metrics
- Participates in the contract renewal process, focusing on commercial drivers and development of key contractual terms
- To ensure the commercial viability of the opportunity you will be involved with input to the contract and the legal processes in relation to the structure of the contract and Service Level Agreement
- Performs commercial contractual and financial analysis on existing clients, evaluates and decides where the commercial opportunities are and continue to model them into the enterprise framework for tracking and realise benefit
Builds key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manages senior business stakeholders through appropriate direct engagement to ensure that all risk and control issues are properly transparent and managed
- Meet regularly with all relevant business owners and be diligent in documenting minutes actions and deliverables to completion
- Work cross-functionally with commercial and financial teams across our global estate to ensure alignment and drive towards best practice
- Takes ownership of compliance and mitigate risks in terms of penalties, contract termination, building agreements, limitation of liability and non-solicitation for bids and/or deals and provide feedback to the key stakeholders regarding these

Knowledge
- Relevant Finance or Business Management Qualification
- 7 years professional business experience in commercial and/or finance practices
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Contact Centre/BPO industry
- Proven Excel proficiency and competency, and other access based model applications
- Data analytics and/or financial planning skills
