Production Manager
Sinapi Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate all assembly activities within a medical device assembly plant to ensure achievement of production output, efficiency, quality, and cost objectives.
The role oversees multiple production lines, each managed by a Line Supervisor, and is responsible for creating a high-performance production culture that delivers consistent results through effective leadership, motivation, accountability, and execution.
The Production Manager must be a visible and engaged leader who can build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation, gain the trust and respect of the workforce, and create a culture of urgency, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
The primary focus of the role is to drive production output, improve labour productivity, reduce unit costs, and ensure production targets are consistently achieved while maintaining compliance with all quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will be action-oriented and comfortable spending the majority of his/her time on the production floor.
The ideal candidate is not necessarily a technical manufacturing expert but is an exceptional people leader who can influence large groups of employees, develop capable supervisors, create a culture of accountability, and consistently execute plans that improve output, productivity, and manufacturing cost performance.
Experience (preferential):
· Management experience in a manufacturing environment
· Experience leading large groups of employees
· Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or continuous improvement
· Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment
Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
