ITC Hospitality Group is a fast-growing CBD-based and privately owned property letting and management company that has been in the industry for 20 years. The Company currently represents 4 and 5-star graded and serviced apartments located within the Cape Town CBD, Foreshore and De Waterkant areas. We are currently recruiting for an energetic, well-organised Maintenance/Operations Manager.
As Maintenance Manager in the ITC Hospitality Group, you will oversee various aspects of the property to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing maintenance staff
- Overseeing daily operations
- Handling guest enquiries and complaints
- Coordinating housekeeping and maintenance tasks
-Optimising revenue through effective pricing and inventory management
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Managing budgets and expenses
- Implementing strategies to improve overall efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to drive business growth and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements:
- Able to work under presser in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Well-groomed and presentable.
- Ensure high standard of personal hygiene.
- Friendly, considerate and have the ability greet guests and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Must be hands on individual.
- Check emails and communicate with various stakeholders, action accordingly and in a timely manner.
- Communicate to the ITC Team (e.g., new arrivals, internal communications, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Computer literate (Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and hospitality software such as Knightsbridge).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Maintenance/Operations Manager, or similar role, within the hospitality industry.
- National Senior certificate/Grade 12/Matriculant
- Diploma in relevant field advantageous
