Electrician required for manufacturing industry
Experience & Qualifications :
· Completed a trade test at least 5 years ago.
· Wireman’s license would be advantageous.
· More than 5 years’ experience working as an industrial electrician in the manufacturing industry.
· Experience in high speed packaging machinery would be advantageous.
· Perform fault finding of production equipment including utilities and execute repair of breakdowns.
· Be able to install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand, power and precision measuring tools.
· Carry out maintenance for plant, machinery and equipment as per scheduled maintenance plan.
· Experience with DC, AC single phase, 3 phase and industrial troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of PLC’s and VSD’s would be advantageous.
· Ability to work with a team and independently.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
· Ability to do fault-finding from drawings.
· Must be from Phoenix, Durban and surrounding areas.
