- Diagnose, repair, service, and maintain sports optics and electronic devices
- Perform fault-finding on GPS watches, golf watches, smartwatches, rangefinders, binoculars, spotting scopes, and related products
- Inspect and troubleshoot electronic components, circuit boards, sensors, displays, and connectivity systems
- Carry out mechanical and optical repairs, adjustments, cleaning, calibration, and testing
- Use specialised diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair instruments to ensure quality workmanship
- Record repairs, test results, and service information accurately using computer-based systems
- Assist with product inspections, warranty assessments, and technical evaluations
- Communicate repair findings and outcomes clearly and professionally
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on experience repairing, servicing, assembling, or maintaining precision electronic, optical, or electromechanical equipment
- Experience with smartwatches, GPS devices, sports electronics, cameras, optics, instruments, or similar products will be advantageous
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuit boards, batteries, sensors, and fault-finding techniques
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail when working with small and delicate components
- A technical qualification, certification, or demonstrated practical experience in electronics repair, optics, instrumentation, or a related field
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and precision hand tools effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Computer literacy and the ability to accurately manage repair records and administrative tasks
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn new products, technologies, repair procedures, and product ranges as they evolve
Pay: R7 000,00 - R15 000,00 per hour
