Luxury inbound touring and management company based in Johannesburg is looking for Reservations Consultant. The main purpose of this role is to provide a professional service in enhancing guest experience and maximising revenue flow whilst providing expert travel advice.

Build relationships and craft experienced by booking brand accommodation and logistics services in areas in which the company operates

Maintain relationships with partner clients, travel advisors around the world with a focus on Africa based operators

Mastering multitasking and systems required such as Springer-Miller, WETU, Travelogic and LeanKit

Administrative work to create and finalize bookings

Participate in all product training including site inspections

Ensuring clients adhere to terms and conditions, make deposits and final payments

Providing a flawless guest itinerary aligned with the brands promise & business strategy

Self-educate on relevant experienced that travel advisors may require about

Foster a culture of collaborations

Active participation in and effective communication and support
Requirements:

Luxury retail travel industry experience or luxury lodge / hotel experience

Ability to deal with people combined with a strong client focus

Ability to be resourceful

Meticulous, accurate and detail orientated

Exposure to selling experienced opposed to itineraries

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Sound geographical knowledge of Africa

MS Office essential, other travel systems will be an advantage
