North West Province and Gauteng Province – South Africa: Seeking an experienced Seed Production Research Executive who will lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of seed production research trials aimed at ensuring successful and timely launching of products in the Market. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Lead, the role will focus on identifying optimal agronomic practices, production protocols, quality standards, and data collection efficiencies operational efficiencies necessary for successful seed production trials.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Seed Science, Crop Science, Plant Breeding, Horticulture, or related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in agricultural research, seed production, or agronomy.
- Proven experience in managing field trials and analyzing agronomic data.
- Exposure to hybrid seed production operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capability.
- Strong knowledge of seed production systems, crop management, and certification processes.
- Proficiency in research design, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Analytical, results-driven, and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
