The Social Auxiliary Worker (SAW) will manage beneficiaries’ first engagement with the organisation, perform administration duties required and maintain external and internal collaborative efforts.
Programme Management:
-
Complete daily register for clients.

Conduct intake and refer junior social worker as needed.
-
Schedule appointments on behalf of the clients with the Junior Social Worker for further intervention.

Contain all walk-ins accordingly before referring for further intervention.

Assist the Junior Social Worker in distributing all donations to the identified vulnerable groups.

Assist in all SSS functions as and when needed.
-
Facilitation of trainings and workshops in core programmes.
Administration:
-
Submit weekly highlights to the Junior Social Worker.

Submit client screenings statistics to the Data Capturer as and when interventions are conducted.

File accordingly all documents for declared orphan and vulnerable children profiles.
External and Internal Collaboration:

Collaborate with external NGOs/Social Workers and Service Providers to keep abreast with effective methods of interventions.

Work together with other core programmes within the respective centre to form a collective whole in supporting the success of a centre (MDT).

Work together with all relevant stakeholders within the organisation to provide an effective holistic approach in dealing with each case.
Qualification and Experience:

Matric (Grade 12).
-
NQF Level 5 Social Auxiliary Worker Certificate.
