We're seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to join a large enterprise IT environment supporting business-critical infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled infrastructure professional with strong Microsoft server administration and VMware experience who enjoys working in complex, high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer, maintain and support Microsoft Windows Server environments.
* Provision, configure and manage virtual servers within VMware vSphere.
* Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services.
* Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
* Administer Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments.
* Plan and implement Windows Server patching and security updates.
* Perform server provisioning, migrations and lifecycle management.
* Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities.
* Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
* Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
* Collaborate with networking, security and application teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
* Minimum 3 years' experience supporting VMware vSphere environments.
* Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
* Experience administering Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365.
* Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
