A prestigious 5 * Hotel in Sandton with a range of banquet and conference facilities seeks to employ a vibrant, well groomed and experienced Banquet Manager to successfully manage the department. Must have 4 / 5 * Banquet Experience, with at least 4 years' experience as a Banquet Manager in a venue or property with at least 6 venues accommodating up to 600 pax.
Requirements :
Hospitality Management Diploma.
Minimum of 10 years conference and food and beverage management / banqueting management experience, having started within the department as a co-ordiantor or similar.
Will be required to have excellent financial acumen.
Must currently be holding a banqueting management role in 4/5* hotel with banqueting capacity of over 400 pax
Must have multi-venue experience
Must be willing to work long hours as business dictates, weekends/late evenings etc
Be detail orientated, deal with staff effectively, very well presesnted, have a good rapport with clients and guests and have excellent communication skills.
