Era-Sure Renewables is a growing supplier and distributor of solar and electrical products,
serving installers, contractors, and businesses throughout South Africa.
We are seeking an energetic, driven and ambitious Junior Business Development Assistant to
join our team and help support the continued growth of our Johannesburg operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and
taking ownership of their work. The successful candidate will gain exposure to business
development, sales, operations, logistics, and customer relationship management within the
rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage with potential new customers
- Visit existing customers and maintain strong client relationships
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities
- Assist with customer account management
- Perform occasional deliveries to customers
- Collect stock from suppliers when required
- Support general sales and business development activities
- Assist with operational and administrative tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Valid South African driver's licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Own laptop
- Matric certificate
- Fluent in English
- Ability to understand and communicate in Afrikaans
- Physically capable of loading and unloading stock when required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional presentation and conduct when dealing with clients
- Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience
- Experience within the solar, electrical, construction, or related industries
- Knowledge of electrical cables, equipment and components
- Relevant degree, diploma, or tertiary qualification
- Good computer literacy and confidence using business software
