Salary Range is R25 000 to R30 000 per month.
2 Position are open: IT/Computer Science Teacher, and Accounting/Economics Teacher
Age Level: 14 - 18 Years (Must have a degree and experience and be able to teach A-Levels)
Subjects:
UK IGCSE and A-Level: Computer Science, Information Technology, and Digital Literacy.
UK IGCSE and A-Level: Accounting and Economics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Design and Delivery:
- Structure self-paced Units in line with exam board syllabus guidelines.
- Provide clear, logical, and engaging instructional content (visual, audio, and text-based resources).
- Set, monitor, and assess assignments, quizzes, and projects.
- Learner Support and Engagement:
- Offer academic support via email, Google Meet, or the Canvas LMS.
- eliver targeted remedial sessions based on learners' specific questions and progress needs.
- Professional Responsibilities:
- Participate in safeguarding and GDPR training within the first month of employment.
- Follow all policies regarding online conduct, learner safeguarding, and information security.
- Maintain a professional online presence, adhering to the school's code of conduct.
- Collaboration and Innovation:
- Collaborate with Study Coaches to track learner progress.
- Suggest new resources, technologies, and teaching strategies to enhance the learner experience.
- Participate in professional development initiatives.
Key Tasks Include:
- Designing course Units with prerequisites, assessments, and multiple resource types.
- Tracking learner completion rates and providing structured feedback.
- Assisting learners in preparing for the exam board final exams.
- Contributing to the Future Technologies and Mindset modules, if required.
- Maintaining communication with learners across different time zones with flexibility.
