Factory R&D Manager | Gauteng North
They ensure that the production line runs efficiently, safely, and meets targets.
Key Responsibilities
Production Output
· Meeting daily production quotas
· Monitoring machine productivity
· Reducing downtime
· Ensuring on-time manufacturing
Staff Management
· Assigning staff to machines
· Monitoring performance
- Managing attendance
- Training staff
- Handling disciplinary issues
- Ensuring staff follow SOPs
Quality & Compliance
· Quality checks
· Hygiene standards (important in cosmetics manufacturing)
· GMP compliance
· Safety protocols
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc in Chemistry or a related field advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in management within an FMCG environment
- Excellent organisational, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving capability and a proactive, structured working style
- Report writing skills
- Fully computer literate
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
