Hiring Qualified Automotive Technician’s - Volkswagen Automotive & LCV Experience (Ireland)

Role Overview
Successful candidates will be trade qualified mechanics with strong diagnostic skills and proven experience working on VW Cars & LCVs.

Key Job Specifications & Responsibilities
- Red Seal or equivalent trade qualification (petrol & diesel car or diesel/truck mechanics)
- Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
- Maintenance & Repair: Performing routine servicing, brake/suspension repairs, and engine work on VW Automotive & LCV’s
- Diagnostics: Using VW diagnostic tools (e.g., ODIS) to troubleshoot electrical, fuel, and electronic systems.
- Testing: Preparing vehicles for CVRT/DOE tests.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Documentation: Recording work on digital/paper job cards and performing vehicle health checks
Candidate Requirements
- Red Seal or equivalent trade qualification (petrol & diesel car or diesel/truck mechanics)
- Experience: Proven experience in LCV or passenger vehicle maintenance; modern Diesel engine knowledge is crucial.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and attention to safety
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary: €38,000 – €43,000 per annum (dependent on experience and skill level)
