The Plant Manager is responsible for the full operational, financial, and people management of the Ready-Mix batching plants (Stilfontein, Potch & Others). This includes ensuring efficient production, strict quality control, cost management, plant reliability, and customer service delivery.
The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with SANS standards, and lead a high-performing team to meet production and business targets.
Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric) – essential

Technical qualification in Concrete Technology, Engineering, or Production

Certificate in Concrete Technology (advantageous)

Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Materials, or related field (advantageous)
Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Ready-Mix plant, batching plant, or production environment

Proven experience managing plant operations, production, and logistics

Strong technical knowledge of: Concrete batching processes, Mix design and moisture correction and Quality control and testing procedures

Experience working within SANS standards and quality systems

Proven leadership and people management experience

Experience on Acumatica ERP System (advantage)

Experience with Batching Software (CE, Batchman, Command Alkon)
